About Us

Dr. Chow is a native of the Seattle area, growing up in the Kirkland and graduating from Juanita High School. He did his undergraduate studies at UCSD, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Chow attended Southern California College of Optometry. He did his externships at the San Diego Naval Hospital, Madigan Army Medical Center, and Veterans Hospital in Bay Pines, Florida. He graduated from Southern Cal in 1995. In January of 2000, Dr. Chow entered business school and earned his MBA in June of 2002.

In his free time. Dr. Chow enjoys spending time with his two daughters, jamming in his recording studio, and trying to hold on to his days as an avid cyclist.

Dr. Ng grew up in the Seattle area and completed her undergraduate studies in neurobiology and molecular biology at the University of Washington. In 2016, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California-Berkeley. She completed internships at the American Lake VA Medical Center (Tacoma, WA), Highland Hospital (Oakland, CA) and the Hayward Wellness Center (Hayward, CA).

Dr. Ng strives to provide comprehensive primary eye care for all ages and backgrounds, with compassion and careful regard for the changes that the visual system undergoes throughout life.  After practicing in a variety of settings—hospital, retail, and private offices – Dr. Ng started her practice at Pine Lake Optometry.  Her special interests are in multifocal contact lenses, digital eyestrain, dry eye therapy, and myopia management.

Outside of work, Dr. Ng is usually spending quality time with her husband and toddler son. She may also be found trying new restaurants and cafes, cooking a new recipe, or exploring the great outdoors with a camera or sketchbook in hand.
